@devTea exactly!,. and i didn't even mentioned that they require 40+ hours work/week!

I like how "english (translation)" is a required skill but there is no mention of other languages that I can see.

I'm ok with job postings listing stuff that "would be nice but not required" (though this one does call it 'required'), but the way they include so much unneccesary fluff in this one just makes it look unprofessional.

Even if I met all those criteria and was a motivated jobseeker I'd give that one a pass.

sure. if i get paid 100M$/minute, I'll gladly take this job offer!

@ltlian Well, obviously what they mean with english(translation) is translation of english texts into every other language. But of course on a professional level, anyone can just copy it into google translate...

I think these guys should start with the first item "Recruitment Assistant" and let him rewrite this garbage. But only if he can also do shirt design!

My favorite thing on this list is still "PSD to HTML".

Did they just enter random letters into the google search and copy-pasted all suggestions?

@deadlyRants it really baffles me everytime i see a job posting that has "PSD to HTML" in it,. i mean why???

@Nanos It is like a job application, if enough match they'll have to accept you.

That's... literally every level of every dept in the company. From CFO down to helldesk monkey.

So many people misinterpret those job postings. Most of the time they just state what they need in general, not ALL OF THEM with one single person. But posting a wider variety of properties has a higher chance of finding someone that fits one or more of the stated things.

@devTea I absolutely love your comments, always looking for them 🤫

no doubt paying rock bottom rates too

@Snob If they are hard to interprate or too ambigious then they need to find a new person to write the job posting.

I understand that they asren't going to find someone who has all of the required skills, so if they are hiring anyone then they are going to have to accept that all of these skills aren't "required". Even then they need to do a better job seperating skills required from prefered and write a better job posting.

@Schroedinbug I agree, but I think devs should know that by now... Companies aren't doing job postings just from last week on
