    What a masterpiece. Report back on taste 😂 I should start writing my name in food more often.

    Man, lasagna sounds pretty fucking good right now. I ate some hot pockets and now I'm having a cup of coffee. Pretty normal breakfast for myself

    @michezio 😄👍 rightfully so. But don't take life this seriously.
  • 1
    @michezio anything wrong with my food?
  • 3
    @R1100 I was joking. If you like it then it's fine, but please, don't call that "lasagna", it is not 😅
  • 4
    @R1100 in italy food is political.
    You just have search for a american spaghetti with meatballs recipe on youtube. You can be sure you'll find italians in the comment section ranting about how disgusting americans are. 😄

    Mmmm Lasagne. I made chicken roulade, roasted veggies and potato dauphinois gratin for dinner - I was in a fancy mood (and cooking for company).
  • 3
    @michezio well i followed the receipe from this book
  • 2
    @heyheni correct 😂

    @heyheni very true, we take food almost like a religion, and for a reason. Many Italian recipes have been "translated" to various cultures mainly by italian-americans and this led to many aberrations from the traditional recipes and also invented ones (Alfredo or chicken parmigiana to name a few), and when we hear people using a sacred name like "lasagna" or "parmigiana" on something totally different, we literally can't tolerate that, we can even start a fight if needed 😅

    @R1100 recipes never grasp what real italian lasagna is, one that comes close is https://walksofitaly.com/blog/... but even following this recipe can lead to an "unworthy" result if not made by someone experienced, as italian recipes are mostly based on taste, smell and feeling more that predefined quantities and times. The only way I can suggest to make a good lasagna is to find an italian granny to cook it for you 😊

    @michezio i liked the taste of my non-lasagna anyway 😅
  • 3
    @michezio
    That is very close to my recipe!
    Actualy i learned how to cook italian from my mum, she had lived in southen part of italy for good few years so her recipies are 100% original, she got them from few families.
