Does anyone go on popular websites and inspect element and to the network tab to see what kind of server they using as a backend?

    I dont know you can do that. I used stackshare.io to see their server as well as their stack

    I do this constantly. not to check their servers, but mainly to snoop in the console to see what kind of errors pop up.

    Yep.. When the internet is slow and it's taking forever for the css to load :D
