I am currently using nordVPN but i am not really sure at all if it worth it, tbh connection to the servers are ok, quite fast but i still dont know if i can trust their services. Ofc they are in Panama so its easier for everything data related but still.
For cheap well the 3 years plan with a 77% discount is really cheap about 100$ for 3 year or about 9cents/day (2.75$/month).

Like i said, the issue with massively used vpn is that you cant trust if they really do not keep logs or anything. Also these server ip are for most already blacklisted on a lot of services which is a shame.

If you find it hard to trust any commercial solution, you could also spin your own with OpenVPN hosted on some service like Digital Ocean. Depending on usage, the prices could be similar.

Ars Technica wrote a piece last year doing just that (https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/...).

@Jilano Basically what he said. I recommend Mullvad and would definitely never trust a vpn provider based in a five eyes country.
