I cry in a corner. And used to live month by month. Eating dry rice sometimes.
But after a year you get so sick and tired of it. So I tried living for half my expenses, and build a buffer that could sustain me for a few months until payements finaly come in. -
@for-Each my experience is that even then they pay late. Large companies more often.

It's there as a consequence to not paying you -
Not sure if illegal, but I'd put code to stop the entire thing until my payment arrives.

Freelancers, how do you deal with clients who seem to refuse to pay on time? This is just the last few rows of my account balances and as a student that kind of money is huge!
