    haven't been on Windows for a whole now, but is that even possible? In my days, IE was the OS, and Windows the app that ran on it.

    @kanduvisla I think explorer.exe is a different thing..
    But I might be wrong, might use the same in the background.

    Then use <3 Edge <3....

    But sometimes you need IE... for example if a website behaves stupid in Edge because of lousy webmasters....

    @forkbomber no you are right, explorer.exe is the user shell, basically the process responsible for much of the interface.

    why its good to have as a last check if every thing work on all browsers

    I am just curious on the reasons why you are uninstalling IE? Do you often fall on your keyboard and accidently type [Win KEY] + r + iexplorer.exe + [enter]? Or is it to save 50 or so megabytes of disk space? Or...? :-)

    Subsystem for Linux woohoo. You cant even use java with it but woohoo
