@FrodoSwaggins worked when I was using but like a nagging wife they always find something wrong
-
@sydneymlambo if you hate QA people, that just proves that you utterly need them .
-
QA (the process) is frustrating, but it’s because when they report something it means:
a) you’ve done something wrong,
b) the person writing your spec did something wrong,
c) the user expected behaviour that neither you nor the spec writer expected or flagged.
But the thing to keep in mind is that they make your product better for your users, and if your users do find imperfections then it means respectively:
a) QA should have found it,
b) it’s not your fault,
c) it’s not your fault.
So don’t feel bad about it. And don’t hate them. They’re just humans doing their part in the whole imperfect process. -
@joycestick well explained but I don’t hate em cause I think they’re useless cause they’re certainly not, I hate them cause they actually do their job sort of like that high school teacher who’s never absent
-
@sydneymlambo That’s fair. Hate QA, not the people is all I’m saying. We’re just people doing our thing to get paid.
-
@sydneymlambo To clarify, I don’t do QA, but I’d rather be a dev than a QA any day. Those guys have the hardest and most thankless task.
-
@vlatkozelka questions and answers QA, was almost confused there, I need to call it a night it’s 23:36 in South Africa right now I’ll just read the discussions tomorrow

Dude, just watch some Westworld to see how important QA is. Theirs is really kicking ass. (In 2nd season they enter a room, dead bodies all over: Ah, QA was there.)
I hate QA people
