I'm a designer and just found out about a hackathon by Deutsche Bank hosted at the end of October in Berlin. Are some devs out there interested in forming a team (and brainstorming about an idea, obviously)? Preferably from around Germany, since one has to pay travel costs on his/her own, but I'm open, really.
More information: https://api-open.db.com

Just hit me up if you're interested!

P.S. I'm not bad at getting some front-end development done...

Honestly - nothing specific yet since I heard about it yesterday. I think a little groups brainstorm might help very well, there. Right now I'm thinking towards automation of annoying things for consumers (like separating the expenses of a vacation or a apartment-sharing community) - shared budgeting in general. But really - I am open to everything.
Just a little background info on the Deutsche Bank API: it will be released for the hackathon and just have some basic functionality (4 current endpoints). It will be extended based on what people are suggesting during the event, so no one is limited to those endpoint, the rest is done through mockups. Also I think this api is more customer-focused rather than b2c or alike.

@mx-n there's already "splitwise" for expenses sharing, these days you'd be hard pressed to find an idea that's not already implemented.

Only way you're gonna up your game is by implementing it better than them

what if you allow bank billing folders

@leviathan07 totally aware of this. As you mentioned: you got to be better. Also there are four other points why I am thinking about this direction: a) Find a good app that's capable of this and available in Germany b) there's nothing like an api directly provided by the bank c) Deutsche Bank might still be interested in something like this to offer this to their own clients d) existing customers (hint: it's huge) ;-)

@wildgoescsharp would probably solve a lot of problems customers have and helps to have a better overview. I am thinking towards a more automated kind of thing
