    Got myself an iPhone 5c a few months ago, because it was the only decend phone I could find for 80€ and so far it does it's job ok, but I mostly only use it for music and messengers. Would rather have one with stock Android and a huge battery though, some stuff does annoy me.

    @Torbuntu get a blackberry they run android but blackberry is very very very security minded

    Funny how there are so many iPhone haters and still a new iPhone breaks records and puts a big "L" on the Apple haters šŸ˜‚
  • 1
    @mnafees what kind of records. The only thing Apple is doing great is their SOCs apart from that they are just copy pasting. ¯\_(惄)_/¯

    Everybody I know who owns a flat phone has a horror story about the damn thing shattering after accidentally [fill in blank]. I'm lucky I can insist on a flip phone, in my case a ZTE Cymbal Z-320. And I can feel good when I call their customer service and tell the agent she speaks excellent English!

    @inpothet Blackberry has publicly announced to support law agencies with cracking their own encryption so I’m not too sure about that one.

    What about blackphone? Iirc it's made by the creator of PGP, Phil Zimmerman. It is a modified Android OS, runs internet traffic through a VPN and has a bundle of security oriented tools shipped with it.

    @Hakash far outside of my budget šŸ˜

    @linuxxx ah, well you can find some if their stuff for iOS and regular Android as well. Helps a little I guess?

    @linuxxx I stand corrected

    If you thiught using an iPhone is hard, try developing an app for it ;)

    What have you done, you're gonna have this feeling of being stuck now. Me personally, I got an android because even if it becomes shitty after a year or two, which it will, I can still do a bunch of experiments on it after root because of the hardware support it has is more than iPhones. :D

    I tried an iPhone and the thing I hated the most was the keyboard it's layed out slightly differently so it was impossible to type fast. You experiencing this?
