Been there! Yeah exactly. I was workaholic and also crashed. Not worked for a long time and found out there's more than work in life. It was a lot more than 2 months :p But I my family too, if you don't work, that's the most horrible thing in the world or smth.

I quit cuz my job was making me miserable. I didnt know much about work so I was trying to work it out and talk to people to understand wtf is going on

managed not to really find anyone to talk to about it. people just had fake canned lines every time. my roommate at the time, whom I paid the bills for for 2 years while I was unemployed actually... then eventually started getting on my case how I should get a job. while he was entirely unavailable for me to work out my issues. I kept trying to talk to him about them but he kept giving me canned lines, so I thought he wasn't interested in my plight

turns out he WAS interested in my job situation, but just to tell me he wanted money from me and thusly I should get a job

people are shitty. I never lived to work. it seems like everyone has been brainwashed into their heads that they live to work. I don't know how they live with themselves. maybe they just haven't realized how fucked up that is?

also maybe I'm not helping with that😁

It's OK as long as you have financial reserves.

They eventually run out, though, so it's good to have a steady employment.

My reserves ran out within almost a year while trying to find a new job, which sucked.

That was exactly the same reason for me.

The company had made a deal w/ Beelzaboot, the Canadian Devil.

    https://youtube.com/watch/... .

Since the company had no intentions to make games ever again, there was no future for me there, prompting me to finally quit.
