@netikras that ship already sailed with termux I guess. Your bash webserver prolly runs on both.

Also isn't there adb shell as well? They're making that available on the device, neat?

@netikras yes, if they are just foreground applications that's what should happen. but it should be possible to make a background service that keeps the device active by design.

i haven't been looking into details, but have seen some implementations of a server on a phone some time ago. maybe it was easier to perform with older phones which were more easily exploitable

@iiii Was definitely doable with root. I think termux does have the foreground notification thing, but never bothered testing it
