Hi all! I am an iOS developer and I've been using Firebase as my 'online storage'. I want to be a more full stack dev and creating my own APIs. I want to start to learn Java or .NET APIs (uuh an iOS dev speaking about .NET :P). Anyone that can recommend good courses or tutorials and best practices? I have been learning Java and .NET in college, but that is about 4 years sgo.. Thanks in advance!

@WingedDestinyX Point. Udemy is my go to option but there are great YouTube channels. You have to find what works for you

@Code-Junkie Hahahaa 😅😅😂😂 But are there good franeworks to learn? And are there frameworks I should def avoid? On API level I am a total stranger 🤓

@WingedDestinyX those are awfully personal choices. Why don't you take me to dinner first?

If you wanna do stuff painlessly, i recommend the java spark framework, their website has a lot of great guides too

Tbh for a newbie, .net is easier, since you are an iOS developer, go with dotnet core and try out their WebAPI, they have good getting started, check MS website.

Udemy or Pluralsight are great. If you’re interested in the Spring Framework, spring framework.guru has a lot to learn

If you’re at all familiar with javascript, an API built in node/express can be pretty easy to setup too

Go to MVA for .NET.. Courses by Scott Hanselman are really good.
Plus you'll get better performance on .Net Core
