@retoor same. We call it "terminal leave". Maybe not true in other countries?

@electrineer at my first job it was 3 months 😅
But we mutually agreed to shorten it to 1 month.

@Lensflare yeah that, i did such stuff too. Normally they make you document as a maniac the last month.

@Lensflare I think 1 month is more than enough to perform turnovers for documents, tasks, and equipment.

My last job it was 3 months. This one it just just 1 week so I am moaning about something that isn't a big deal. I just work with toxic people and it's a horrible environment. No holiday to use as it reset at the start of the year and they want me working until the last minute of the week!

@HighTurtleDev I was once at a new company just looking around in the project, just checking what tech is used ik what way, just an investigation. Oh, the said. Please document it. Wtf. What the actual... Just from my relax investigation, they made it a heavy task. Documenting is on top of that my worst skill so including documentation for researching a system I'm new too was a nightmare.
