Redders9569ylet's encrypt is great, but if you're doing it from an Autoscaling load balanced system, it's awkward, or a CDN, I've done it, but I wasn't confident that it would be robust enough, and certificates are way cheaper than $400 a year.

I would never use Let's Encrypt for a webbshop or something like that. Only for private use or maybee a presentational website
