BordedDev66434d@NoMad Do it. I'm in a similar position. If it sucks now it's not going to get better by doing nothing

NoMad1384334d@BordedDev need Gods to save me from all the blergh and negativity that is this place. ⚰️🥀💀
-
Berkmann18123633dApply for that position and hope to get it and fuck off from your current workplace.

retoor466733dDoing nothing is absolutely the worst you can do, since, if I a position opens up next month, you are also drained that now even. Shoot quick. And you not on your best because being drained a bit is maybe still better than the competition and there's a chance that you are exactly what they want. Such thing is possible.

BordedDev66433d@NoMad Do it before your work, it'll be easier to deal with before work than after

BordedDev66433d@electrineer While funny, most people can only deal with X amount of stress in a day, and if work isn't tolerable, starting the workday can already be a big crumple on that capacity.
A fancy position opened up in a good spot, which I should be applying for. I want to. But this soul sucking place I currently work for has crushed me and I really don't see it in me anymore. The robots have more soul in this corridor than people.
