Most expensive thing you ever bought?

I think I just bought about 20 seconds of relevant audio recordings for over 300€ 🙃

But hey, the virtual car has to sound good or whatever... totally not a painful investment...

Imagine the expensive of making those recordings?

@Demolishun I'm just being facetious, of course I get it. In a sense you aren't paying 300 bucks for a few gigs of sound recordings. You are paying for the expertise of the people, the sound equipment, the opportunity to even drive that car, recording it, mixing it, cleaning it up, labeling it properly

I get that. But there still is that feeling of paying over 300 bucks for essentially 20 seconds of recording that's relevant to my usecase lol

@12bitfloat yeah, the right data at the right time can make or break a project. Kinda wild a few bits can change everything.

Imagine paying to hear the noise of a car. At least go for something cool like the sounds of a nuclear plant.
