Government
statement 1 - Money stored in bank is white
Also Government
statement 2 - Bitcoin is purchased using black money
And how do we buy bitcoin ?? Using banks
so basically,
statement 1 != statement 1
or money stored in banks is black money -
github95617yI think they are more concerned about the interest earned through bitcoin instead of how we bought it.
Tax are applied on interest too and there is no track of interests earned through bitcoin, hence they are behind it.
Your statement is hence invalid. -
@github and why government is interested in interest. What it had done that it is looking for its share ?
-
github95617y@jalebiBhai Interests are taxable. Why won't they be.
As per the Income Tax rules, interests are included as income too. -
@github i am asking what had government contributed in the development of crypto currency that it is asking for tax
-
github95617y@jalebiBhai In that case, if you invest in foreign stocks like Snapchat, and when you sell them, some part is cut as tax.

So our government is going to summon individuals who have invested in Bitcoin, suspecting they might be hiding 'Black Money' under the name of Bitcoin...
Guess the government
