I’m using Devrant sporadically due to my lack of time and I really enjoyed it back in the early days. I see more and more scammers/spammers posting here and I feel like I’m not in the right place to be posting/sharing/ranting.
My question: is someone or more than one person here actually maintaining Devrant ? Why so many scammy accounts here ?

    As per my understanding dfox left this platform as self-sustainable and only attends it upon escalations.

    I tried him to offer myself as a maintainer, my idea was met with enthusiasm, but that's about all of it. It did not progress any further.

    the scam accounts don't matter. after some time you just blend them out. and if they really annoy you, theres a client which lets you block users from feed with a plain green profile picture where the post has under five++ (which are usually scam accounts).

    The platform IS kinda self sustainable. Much decent people, no weird escalations. No indecent pictures. It's a special platform. We're our own spam filter also. That'd cool. There's much freedom as speech as well - an unpopular opinion isn't downvoted quickly. That's special too. Much respect

    @netikras same, and I've heard the story a few times told the same way. I'm guessing dfox is either going through some busy life stuff or just so bored of devRant he can't fathom actually doing even just one thing with it.
