Assuming that by "frontend" you mean web: bad luck.
The iOS SDK has a simple property to enable dynamic text scaling out of the box. You can even specify a minimum scale factor.

I'm a rails dev. I do everything because I'm the only dev here. That said, I am very much stronger with the backend stuff.

Recently I decided to use rails ujs to "make my life easier" and wound up having to waste hours troubleshooting some javascript shotgun spaghetti and just gave up and wrote a fetch api solution by hand in about 20 minutes.

I wish JS was as well polished as ruby. I might actually like frontend.
