cursee164388yYeah they take their actions. We also should start taking real actions. Although I have like a byte networking knowledge, I'm quite curious and interested to build own internet. -
@wolt would it be possible to go over the ISPs?
With Wi-Fi maybe? It's range is quite short, but if every home as a connected computer it could work, right? Just wondering. -
@shellbug nvm, a computer's Wi-Fi board can only connect to one device afaik. We would need to make our routers connect to our neighbors' routers.

If tesla supports net neutrality, i guess we can count on them since i hear they will be deploying satellites to provide internet connectivity worldwide.

shandaar5668yCreating some small networks will be possible but something like the internet without infrastructure will not be possible. -

RAZERZ26338y@shellbug it's either this (https://youtu.be/PriUY-zObjQ) or this (https://youtu.be/zXTEWFb_6w4), they're both really good though! -
Sounds great, now you just need to reinvent the entire way the internet works so it doesn't require trillions of dollars in infastructure.
-
@wolt wouldn't the point be to avoid today's ISPs and internet companies in general and only access the internet through exit nodes?

Alright people, let's make our own free, decentralized, p2p encrypted Internet.
How does that sound?
