StackOverflow is full of shit people who think they know everything. Really fucks me off. Only because you have a high reputation doesn't mean you know everything and that everyone else with <500 rep is stupid. I hate this whole concept of rep because it separates people so much and causes a whole load of prejudice. Fucking cunts.

@1989 I agree, but you can help a stranger without being a dick about it. There are people who totally help strangers online without being assholes.

@1989 That's generally incorrect. The notion of having any wealth makes people big-headed. It applies to alot of things e.g. money, fame, resources etc. And I'm not saying that people shouldn't be rewarded for helping online on the community, I think that SO should have better moderation to stop people acting like complete cunts to those who want to ask questions and seek help. While some questions might not be good and are using incorrect concepts to achieve something doesn't mean that people should belittle them, that's inherently wrong. But the way SO is moderated is garbage and it's mostly a toxic community. It's not common for me to see a nice discussion on there without someone being called stupid.
