I use Windows for work and I’ve always used Linux for my home set up. Got a Mac a few months ago…..yeah I see it now….

@Demolishun ohhhh… I forgot vim works based of key bindings. ๐Ÿ˜† that whole situation is so funny yet ironic

@DreEleven what are you using your Mac for?

@xcodesucks Web and mobile development mostly. Building API’s and the like

Whatever you want I guess. It's a learning curve thing. I feel like everything but i3 is sluggish to control... But if you like it, that's great

I get that Mac is pretty good because it’s mostly Linux without the problems but gosh I struggle so much with the user experience… Plus, my work one is a laptop, so insanely slow.

@Tounai Yeah some parts of the interface took some getting use to. Coming from Fedora running GNOME I found some things better implemented there surprisingly. Interns of performance mine runs an M2, so it’s like butter most times.

While i hate most apple things, i have to agree mac is good for dev work
EXCEPT whenever i put my headphones, they send the play signal, crapple music opens. I do not use it. Searched for a whole day how to disable, no success. Ended up writing the "fuckoff" script which grabs pidof music and kills it 10 times per second.
    Seriously.
    Fuck off.
