I wish the companies understand the value of silent and problem absorbing people who are the people supports the company more than the ones who talks more to the death.

That's my manager who can talk to death without actually doing anything. But his career progression has been very good. That seems to work better than a silent worker. Even I believe people who communicate more brings clarity across the table.

The value doesn't lie in absorbing problems. It lies in providing solutions.

And by all means, be loud and clear about them.

If you are recognized as the person who solves the problems, the whole office will shut up with your quietest whisper.

Not necessarily. Be loud about it.

If despite solving the problems, higher ups don't listen, I agree, you should switch boat.

Like with everything, there are good bosses and bad bosses.

If you are a real problem solver, *good* bosses *will* listen to you.

    About your solutions to problems.

Meaning, I've seen both. My latest boss was an irredeemable moron, and thus, he drove me to quit.

The previous one would literally grind multi-million projects to a halt if I so much as raised an eyebrow.

"Shouting" is metaphorical. What you do is be vocal about it. Once the problem is solved, you are vocal about how the problem occurred in the first place and what can be done to prevent it from happening again.

Doesn't matter that you are the only dev, you do that with the higher ups.

Also, what happened to you sucks, and like I said, in those cases you just jump ship, because like everything in this world, there will always be bad bosses, and they will always be bad.

Many times, the "problems" come from misinformed decisions by that same C-suite.

Like anyone else, they can be educated to prevent said bad decisions.

But it's gonna never happen if you don't say anything about it. And if still they aren't willing to learn, then you do jump ship.
