got this cool protein powder thing and it tastes like chocolate when I mixed it with some milk yesterday

figured it's like hot chocolate but makes you feel awesome!

put powder in a cup and filled it with hot water today
this was a mistake.
turns out protein clumps under heat. it tasted so gross. I threw it out.

I thought I was so smart

    Never found a protein that would taste good with water. Anything tastes better, even skimmed milk.

    My gf sometimes makes a coffee mixture. Think she uses soy milk too. Don't know about the clumping I know she stirs a lot. Apparently it works or she wouldn't repeat it.
    If you are interested I can ask how and what powder she uses.

    @jestdotty yeah well, the stuff that makes you "feel amazing" is the "other random stuff". plus some placebo.

    @jestdotty soo you're trying to insult me for believing in the placebo-effect, the continue with "placebo works by [...]", thus _saying yourself_ that it works.

    @tosensei I was wondering what "believing in placebo" even means….
    Is it the believe that placebo works? Or that placebo exists?

    @Lensflare well, "placebo is working" is something that's scientifically proven again and again and again, to the point that comparing something to a placebo is the _baseline_ of testing if any medical procedure works.

    @tosensei yup it definitely works. Believing in it or not is meaningless. The only question is how it works (probably psychologically).
