the question is just if you're in on it, or if you're the butt of it.
I always find it hilarious when I hear anyone say "I worked my ass off during my internship".
Because I did NOTHING at mine. I only showed up, browsed YouTube, drank company coffee and left.
I didn't have to pay them and they didn't pay me either. 3 months later, they gave me a certificate. That was the entire ordeal.
