Microsoft, google, apple and any other big company.
Besides i prefer letting MS buy it then the other mentioned because MS is investing in opensource and makes apps available for more platforms. -
@runfrodorun mostly it seems they just buy out 90% of the market to then promote the only shitty service left: theirs.
-
I have to say this though: I like the design of Microsoft todo, it's beautifully done!
-
@localjoost the arrow launcher was amazing before, now they raped it, forced the new todo shit into it and also are closing wunderlist, it really cant be worse.
-
Would you also fuck the companies and everyone that happily took Microsoft’s money?
-
@BrainDrain exactly. It was wunderlist that agreed to sell out. Many companies have the money to buy them with toilets included.
-
@BrainDrain basically I didn't mention that, but I am as furious about the people that do actually agree on some quick bucks - allowing that to even happen.
-
@JoshBent Why should anyone be shamed for selling the product of their own efforts? What moral axiom has that individual violated?
-
@BrainDrain I don't know. It's not like wunderlist is some kind of iconic open source product that proudly serves devs and privacy conscious people. Most of their userbase I assume don't even know who used to own it. I think they hit the cap of their growth potential and the owners are actually very well off with some fresh new cash. We all need to pay the rent after all.
-
@dontbeevil the interface mainly, I have multiple todo lists (ora.pm,todoist,wunderlist,..) for different use cases and the microsoft todo simply is not able to replace any of them.
