That's why I use something to automatically close unused tab until I only have a certain amount left. On Firefox it's dustman, but I don't remember the chrome equivalent. It even keep the link of the closed tabs in case you want to recover one. 😊

I admit we use too many tabs but this is overkill !

This is why I've switched to FF, scrollable tabs are fucking amazing.

Man... how much memory do you have? 500TB?

When I was younger I was wondering why my dad had so many tabs open, now that I'm older I understand

@filthyranter hum 🤔 I actually was talking about an extension called Tab Wrangler. Always had that one around to avoid... Toblerone tabs? 🤣

When I use webflow in chrome I seem to have a lot of tabs open too, but use "the great suspender" so it doesn't hog every ounce of memory: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/...

I would call this filthy, but everyone has his own ways of doing stuff 😉

My OCD only allows about 10 tabs per window (=> my way of grouping), sometimes I have 2-4 windows with multiple tabs.

I'm also the kind of guy whose OS trash bin is always empty... 😉

@PonySlaystation I hear you brother! I usually place the tabs into categories and need to reorganise whenever open something new.

At least use something that kills them when they're unused, Chrome is seriously making my life laggy

In chrome if ain't got the toblerone; you are not doing enough research/reading docs.

Edit sorry @Linux missed your comment. Hate duplicates...

That's why we need multi Monitor, and like 64GB Ram. Especially when doing Android development with Android-Studio and default emulator. lol.

I admit I have a lot of tabs opened too, but it would be so distracting for me to have all of these tabs open in the same window. Thats why I use workspaces and multiple Firefox windows opened.

btw. how the fuck do you know which tab is which?

Then you close the most part of them after you debug and fix the issue in your code 😀
