Congrats!
-
English is not my first language. I'll add my 2 cents, though
-
Any Linux distro with LXDE should run smoothly!
-
I can relate... I always try to make up some time to learn new things, improve but I always stumble at the same problem.
One thing I can say is: Think about something that would be useful for you and don't worry *too* much. -
@lucaspar I work at a big Telco...legacy code still exists =/
-
IE9
-
@AurthurM Assuming it's an assignment, maybe they want you to create a loop?
EDIT: Check ShellCheck always..it's a life saver
shellchecker.com -
I'm not an expert on sed...but it its a one liner. But you can accomplish the same with awk.
Check this thread https://stackoverflow.com/questions... -
T-Shirt, Jeans and sneakers.
Maybe something more fancy if we have some clients in. -
@Yahoo `!!` :)
-
@inaba Time for another `sudo pacman -Syu` haha
-
@Yahoo It's a notebook, actually! hahah
-
BTW I also use Arch

There's a time you realize that money isn't all that, you should be able to live not just survive..
You're young, take care of your mental health.. Everyone has its own time...but don't forget that is not about the money (yes, it is important), but it's about enjoyng life despite the little daily hiccups.
Take care! -
Well, `ppl pages` is more appropriate

@netikras Oh, man... I live in Brazil..it's crazy expensive over here. But I was a good boy, though
-
@netikras Damn, now I miss using it!
Nice -
Hahah nice. welcome joke!
-
@just8littleBit I have a bulky Inspiron 7520...that thing ws amazing.
I hope you enjoy, if you choose it. -
@Stuxnet I'm from Brazil. The CTO was spending the holidays in the USA. i7, 16GB, 512SSD for $1333. Some kind of Amazon promo.
Damn, that thing was good -
@Stuxnet I used a XPS13 at my previous job, it's awesome. I'd say it's 'cute'' haha
-
Did you try searching for 'boilerplate'.
A quick google: http://www.clementinejs.com/
And, for a sull stack, it might be hard to find a small solution. What do you have in mind? -
I tried a couple of guitar effects softwares.. They are not bad but not good either. It's kinda hard to compete with Guitar Rig, for instance.
Installing and getting JACK to work *can* be a PITA, though. If you don't have a basic Linux understanding it might be frustrating. There are some distros focused on audio production (I can really think about Ubuntu Studio, if it still a thing), making these steps easier.
Some quick Googling shows that it *might* work. But, again, don't expect things OOTB.
Just a link: https://superuser.com/questions/...
Good luck!
TL;DR: Maybe not Native Instruments, but try some alternatives, if possible. -
@Parzi Oh, yeah..It makes perfect sense, then!
-
@C0D4 Thanks for the explanation and, yes, it makes sense. But what if OP is the only mantainer?
-
@Condor Exactly what I was asking!
-
Hum..I never thought about doing this, but, why not multiple branches in one repo? Something like
Master being the 'never commit to it' branch, a 'dev' branch in which you create your other branches?
Good question! ++ -
@stupidbot We can always have a more positive outlook on life. I understand because we tend to filter the positives about it [life]
But don't give up! -
Happy `sudo pacman -Syu` for you!
-
@stupidbot Working with cynical/unhappy people can be very dangerous. I think every dev has some trust issue in some ways, but never doubt yourself and your work.
