Recently got a couple r710's and started dabbling in the world of ESXI and wondered if anyone had any experience here? And if they did wouldn't mind being a mentor/tutor from time to time?

Just created my first discord server after seeing so many people from here mention it. The questions I have are, why? What makes it better than say slack or something else? Is it prone to spam or bots? How is it for gaming?

Question for all the people who know bash around here. Is there a standard for bash scripting? Kinda how like PHP has the PSR standard. I've downloaded a couple of pdfs from various sites but none have been an actual standard.

just a poll i'm looking for from all the linux based dev's

What distro would you recommend for a front end dev? Tried ubuntu but the wifi driver wasnt supported I guess in my dev machine. Currently looking at Elementary OS, but still undecided. I would primarily like it to be Debian based or something close as I'm very familiar with apt-get debain based stuff, and dont really feel like learning an entirely new distro at them moment.

How does everyone stop themselves getting headaches from staring at a screen everyday, all day? Migraines run in my family, so when I get a headache it's always a migraine. When I get one it stops me dead. I'm unable to do anything until it goes away. My best cure right now is excederin. It works great but I want to see what you guys have to say.

How have I not used KVM before 5 minutes ago? Am I mentally challenged?? This makes my work load wayy easier

When you try and replace the hard drive in your dev machine because the replacement you bought for someone else doesn't work but works for you. You go to turn the computer back on but nothing comes on screen........
