Pop OS looks good (built on Ubuntu).

@Shisuki The wallpaper is bundled with the OS, and I must say the UI is gorgeous.

It comes with support for the latest Nvidia cards.

It's also the first Linux distro I've used that properly support Wacom tablets without any fiddling required.

I've tried Ubuntu, Mint, Xubuntu and Elementary OS.

@saintograph I only tried Mint and Ubuntu so far and lasted about 8 months on a Linux-only machine.

I might give this one a go under a bootable drive cuz nostalgia is kicking me in the balls right now c:

@saintograph I don't know, if there is a big difference between external wacom drawing board and my integrated wacom digitizer in my lenovo. But my lenovo worked in every distro.

@ChibangLW I use an older Intuos 4, that might be the reason.

@jAsE It's built on Ubuntu, so it's universal.

@jAsE I've been using it for 2 hours and counting. It's quite stable, as far as I can tell.

That aside, I'm very impressed with the UI.

What specifically makes it support Nvidia cards better over other distros, aside from drivers that can be obtained on most distros?

Not dissing, just curious. Will check the website later.

@TheCapeGreek It has 2 .iso downloads on site; one has latest drivers pre-installed.

I had to use safe mode from grub with another distro to install drivers and get dual screen support.

You know, gnome 3 is annoying with it's workspaces. I don't like that you're forced to have only vertically expanding workspaces.

For now it's just pop theme on top of Ubuntu. But they have some great plans for it. Let's see how it goes.
Tho it's really nice theme.

**** **** **** couldn't they have released this around last July. I am lazy to switch again. I was looking for a distro with same vision and purpose as them but couldn't find anything satisfying. So ended up with installing minimal Ubuntu with some of the xubuntu features and few from others manually. Ah men.

@conmarap there's an extension for gnome that enables horizontal workspaces. You can use grid workspaces, if you want to :)

It's cool that they're working on their own distro.
I appreciate hardware manufacturers offering Linux as an option as opposed to only Windows.
Especially these guys as their products are geared towards power users and enthusiasts.
