i woud have chosen django, ive never had a liking for codeignitor.

this one time, i was handed a 90% site built in codeignitor and not once did the dev that started ever use any naive plugins.

routing for example was a single switch() with about 300 odd pages hard coded in with user permission checkes for each one -_- i almost cried when i was tasked in adding a "few" more pages.

@C0D4 hahahah the reason i chosed codeigniter was because i just learnt python and i was trying to get my hands dirty on django... unfortunately,it's taking me so much time to grasp it especially the routing part using regExp..i would try working on it again sometime.

I am currently facing a similar situation. I am equally comfortable with php and python (and many other backend languages really) and continue to debate in regards to what will I use for a large business project I have in mind. Whats worse is that I am also looking at Go and cannot make up my mind so .... but hey! Codeigniter is not a bad choice at all! Have fun!

@AleCx04 thank you.. i heard recently that Go is better than python but i'd rather stick with what i'm comfortable with for now.
