Wix is the modern day geo cities.
It shouldn’t had existed then, and it shouldn’t exist now but sometime stupid people by things so you know...
The reason you won’t find it mentioned is because it’s for non technicals.
Wordpress is like the bottom of the barrel as far as devs can aim to be, and wix is about 10 miles south of that line, I can only hope and pray you’ve attained a level of development achievement of wordpress dev or higher. -
@C0D4 No, I’ve just used em when I just stared learning web development. I did encounter em again when I was helping a friend set up her own website, when I already have my own static site on Github.
I’m only asking out of curiosity, to know if the opinion of peeps here about the service, and maybe even their experience with it if they’ve used it before. So thank you for your concern.

I see a lot of dislike on Wordpress here, which I do agree and I loathe it just as much. But what’s your opinion on Wix.com?
I’ve used it before, and it’s way worst than Wordpress for me.
PS: Let’s not talk about this from a non-dev standpoint cause we can come to a consensus that these are friendly (and made to be so) for them, until they want a certain feature on their site.
PSS: I’ve not seen much of a discussion about Wix since coming on, but there seems to be a lot about Wordpress.
