we were told by the developers of a CRM that they have seen occasions where a user's record gets randomly overwritten with the information of the contact they are trying to create.

    Yeah but if it doesn't happen very often do you really need to fix it?

    Yeah, I would have to say it's worth fixing. Sales managers losing access to the information they need to perform their jobs can cost a company a lot more than a little hassle and a slight headache. 😉

    A difficult big to find in production I guess. Bit could be investigated by simply setting up a test server with a job that randomly writes data until it encounters a problem
