I once heard some people talking about a "CSS" server.
I was confused and asked, why he has a own server for CSS and doesn't serve them together with the HTML-files.
The discussion went on for a while and I was pretty certain, that they were just idiots, who didn't understand anything regarding webtech.
Later I found out, that they were talking about "CounterStrike Source" multiplayer servers or something...

In my old job in battle simulation, it stood for Combat Systems Support. Like most acronyms used by the US Army, it doesn't mean anything.
