Archer045687y@Condor and a lot of those apps are so shitty that they will just close if you deny any of the permissions. Also, some of them ask for all of the permissions needed the first time that the app is open, even if you are never going to use any feature that requires that permission.

Archer045687y@Condor the only app that I have to use and do that kind of BS is Chase (bank). They ask for permissions to access to storage in the first run. Their reasoning is that, for security, the user(or any malicious program) can't take screenshots while in the app.

flag020327yAlso the reason is the still broken permission system in Android. Permissions can be a bit more granular.
