Good luck! Just recently went through the same thing. They wouldn't budge so I'm not doing the extra work. Stand your ground!

A lot of that is about your value. If they expect more work without compensating you, it suggests they see your work as having less value.
Good for you for pushing back. It's tricky doing that if they also perceive you as expendable but retaining your sense of your own value is really important. -
@linuxxx just wanted to know what it felt like to be you for a bit. I'll change it soon.

@linuxxx it's pretty big shoes to fill. Trying to impersonate a legend isn't easy!

@projektaquarius nah. Friend moving off the team so I've been asked to take her spot. She didn't get a raise for it, but fuck that nonsense. I don't make enough to take on more work without extra pay.

@QueenMorgana neither do I. And last time I checked very few American companies pay 7 figures and daily blow jobs from Victoria Secret models.
Was just asked to take on even more work. Asked for a raise. "there's no room in the organization for a new position". Yes, but you can still pay me more.
I'm not comfortable enough to do more work without more pay. Sorry.
We'll see what happens.
