Not a rant but I honestly loooove vscode, I've been using it for the 2 years I think. Postman have created a vscode extension as well, I loved Thunderclient too.

try vscodium, if it bothers you, that you have the MS Telemetry. Otherwise yeah it does work great. I use vscodium/vscode for almost all stuff so far

Thanks @thebiochemic, same editor I love with a bit of a plus. I was a bit skeptical at first. I don't know why, but I just thought i'll need to do a lot of hacking stuff together and lots of settings. Now I just need to find a way to sync my settings and extensions because I use this editor on two more stations.
