Does CS imply university? if (hopefully) not, youre gonna have a bad time attending one - having to stick to a template or standards might sound annoying and like some type of mockery, but later in company life is often a quite common thing too.
-
@JoshBent It does. This isn't my first assignment, they're just so fucking braindead easy that I do them in 5 minutes, almost literally. So I was bound to forget the stupid header for the program, full of information they already have. Fucking annoys me they would ruin an otherwise perfect score. I mean, real humans do grade this shit, there has to be a tiny sense of mercy.

@AlgoRythm Thats the difference to elementary school and kindergarten, there is no patting on the head anymore - universities have standards and rules, those teaching there have to stick to headers and other shit too, just take it as a lesson and remember that shitty header next time. I do understand its annoying, but raging to the teacher because of it, isn't right.

I remember a lecturer marked me down for using underscore notation instead of camel case, with the reason of "has not stuck to any well defined standard" I proved them wrong in front of everyone and it was very satisfying...

sljux7247yHow does he even compile his code? I will not image the horor of a uni CS teacher who doesn’t compile his code...
-
She took 5% off because you didn't add a useless comment in, but she writes code in MS Word? I hate this world, when can I move to Mars?
-
@sljux damn, that's too late. How about if I jump really hard with a fish bowl on my head...?
CS Teacher: *provides shitty code written in (I kid you FUCKING NOT) Microsoft Word, sans font*
Me: *Submits beautiful, fully working and commented code*
Half a point off because I didnt write how many points the assignment was worth at the very top of the code.
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME YOU CUNT GOBBLER?! YOU JUST **HAD** TO TAKE THAT HALF A POINT OFF, DIDNT YOU? MAYBE YOU'RE INTIMIDATED BY THE FACT I DONT USE MICROSOFT WORD TO WRITE C++?? God, I hope you take a nail gun to the eye.
