I asked @dfox about this, I believe he said that they would add a toggle if their was enough demand for it. I believe he also said that their isn't enough demand for it.

I might be mistaken.

Those are only your external notifications.

We’re working on a global toggle for that in-app notif but right now you can disable it on a per-rant basis by selecting “mute” from the top right ... menu.

I would like this feature too. Though also some kind of thread history to go back on the ones I have interacted with. Might make an issue on github if there isn't already
