    Well I guess it'd be more LAMP/MEAN...since I'd probably use MySQL and laravel...

    Always nice to try something new, maybe try Ruby on Rails if you like Laravel.

    I would first do a benefits analysis of each language/framework for this specific project. You could always use the new framework on a project that takes advantage of its strengths.
