This is how you feel about the media being what it is: the media.
They sell based on which country you live in, and what are your feelings about the people around you.
Not many of us really care about what happens right outside of our neighbourhood (America/Europe), because that's how we are.

I know it can seem unfair, but we are the ones that allows media to make money. Just look at Trump: apparently intelligent people don't want him, but they keep on commenting what he is doing, watching on TV what is he saying.

You're the one that chooses what to watch and what not to watch. Change this, and you'll see a great difference in what your perception of "media awareness" is.

I could say the same thing about Israel, the media is really fucked up and feeding the rest of the world with bullshit. We have terrorist attacks every two weeks and what does the world know about it? that we are to blame for killing inocent terrorist AGAIN. Some shit just never changes.. its all about politics and not the people.. and that pisses me off..

1. There's nothing illigal in Millitary Occupation in time of war. n the 1967 Six-Day War, aka the Arab-Israeli War, Israel defeated Egypt, Jordan and Syria. Among other territory, it then occupied the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem, as well as the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt.

2. It was under British Mandate from WWI until 1948, then Egypt claimed the Gaza strip from 1948-1967. Then Israel controlled it from 1967-1994. Since 94 the Palestinians technically claim the land, but it has under the control of the group Hamas ever since 2006.

"Palestine" is officially controlled by terrorist organisation that puts all the money that the "Palestine" recieves from countles donations(As well as from Israel) into their own pockets and not into the infrastructure and rebuilding. Therefore until the land is unsafe(Which hopefuly someday will be safe) Israel can't release the borders and give back the occupied territories to official palestinian authorities. Since its already fucking unsafe living here...

@Raspik Hey, chill. I don't agree that ~because~ the money goes to corrupt and violent Palestinians ~therefore~ Israel has permission to secure the perimeter. Does this mean NATO should occupy the US because Trump may get elected? (See how arbitrary it can get?)

Nevertheless, my point was that the media gets it wrong both ways.

@BellAppLab mexicans dont kill americans... aint much Trump can do there. But palestinians do kill Israelis.. and basically did it from before Israel independence. Government needs to protect its people if it means less tolerance..

4) about "Israel can't release the borders" @Raspik !!!! no one of your governments has, since 1967, specifically defined Israel’s borders.

You see... All of us here are obviously alive. Therefore we survived some war or another. Wars that neither of us really want and that are broadcasted by the media in a very partial way. When it favours Palestinians, they call it anti-Semitic. When it's the other way around, Arabs are all terrorists. When it's not about the Middle East, it's another war somewhere else. (Where I come from, a lot more people die every year, yet nobody calls it a war, because you know... Ulterior motives behind it all.) Thus I return to my main argument: wars and the media serve purposes that are not ours. And then, when a bombing happens in Belgium, all of Europe comes together in solidarity. When it happens in Turkey, Africa or pretty much anywhere else, nobody gives a fuck.
