Kalvin12377y@fun2code it depends actually. When I was in college, a gaming laptop was a good option since I was moving along 3 houses (mine, GF and parent's) so it was nice to Play everywhere.
Not that I've settled I can't wait to build a desktop and keep a light and slim laptop for work. -
mundo0349797yRemember the is not just about the processor, big companies use crappy MBs on their non-professional series and out a big processor to get more buck.
Also, what is wrong with watching movies?
You have more power on your phone now than nasa did on the moon landing, and I don't see you launching rockets with your phone.
Chill. -
Kimmax111067y@NullnVoid @Hade a mobile i7 has about as much power as a standard desktop i5. Mobile i7s are burned money

stereo12167yIn that situation, just buy a PS4 to fulfill your gaming needs and keep your laptop in top condition while being more productive with it too.

stereo12167y@Kimmax Totally agree. Just a catchy name to make customers go "wooo i7 in a laptop, noooice".
Growing up with thw crappiest netbook for 8 years, then a regular laptop, now an i3 laptop.
It pains me to see my classmates having i7 laptops and all they do with it is watch movies and browse the internet. All that wasted potential!
(Virtual Box, proccessing speeds, multitasking, and games! Donr get me started on games!)
