I deleted all comments, duplicated files unnecessarily, used complex structures and gladly handed it over.

But why would you invest more work to make the code worse instead of just refusing to hand over the code until you got paid? Is the suffering of whoever will be tasked to maintain that shit payment enough for you? Do you have no use for the money?
