I downloaded it for the no ads part specifically. Haven't tried it out yet but if it indeed does successfully block ads I might switch

@Froot it primary for quick look. It blocks most ads but somethimes it is blocks some functionality as well. This browser is for quick lookup on something. It is not fully featured browser if you want browser use regular firefox with plugins.

I hope you realize that I am talking about phone browsers.

Also don't be fool and setup DuckDuckGo as default search engine.

The UI was a bit to "minimalistic" for my liking.

I just have a pi setup to block ads my entire internet.

@Dacexi read about it why. It is not fully featured browser. I call it porn browser

Actually there's a version of focus called Klar even more private on fdroid that disables user activity tracking.

Besides the questionable choice of colors, it's a little slow, much slower than Firefox on heavy pages, specially endless scrolling ones like tumblrs.

@danielstaleiny Hmmm ok. I'll give it a shot. I'll probably stick to Google search tho

Also, I like the colours and the overall design, its awesome!

I HATE IT. ONE OF THE MOST ESSENTIAL PARTS OF A BROWSER, TABS, ISN'T EVEN IMPLEMENTED.

@calmyourtities @rc5-asdf it has tabs. To open a new tab you touch a link for a sec or two and select open in a new tab in the menu.

@nbamaral I downloaded it along with nightly thinking that I would only use nightly. Turns out focus is so lightweight it opens much faster than nightly, that I barely use nightly. Add to that the fact that I mostly use apps to access my common webpages, and you have me never ever opening nightly.

@Froot yeah, everything google makes is top-notch design-wise. Too bad their business model is negative for privacy. They are really creeping me out. Duckduckgo is a great replacement. It's almost the same as google, plus it has bangs, which I've been using a lot lately.

@calmyourtities you are missing the point of this browser. Read about it.

@danielstaleiny buts it's a *browser*. I want to be able to have two websites open at once.

I love it. It's my default browser, and I only use Chrome for logging in stuff.

Also use it by default on my phone, really like it. And since I don't usually use the phone browser as a desktop replacement it's perfect for me.
