    @papierbouwer nobody declared HTML a programming language... So LaTex is definitely not a programming language but more of a layout-Language, like HTML

    @JonnyCodewalker yeah sure, I believe that's like HTML and HTML is a markup language... I just didn't knew the exact definition :D

    Latex is not a programming language. And html is not a programming language regardless of who you ask. Html is a markup language, latex is a document prep system that uses a markup language. Its pretty and cool :)

    @Lahsen2016 HTML is no Programming Language!

    But HTML+CSS is Turing Complete and as much of programming as Bash.

    Even if its not a real "programming language" its still worth to know. I'm always doing all school work in latex. The teachers often ask how my documents can look so clean :)
    Latex is really erotic btw

    Have you tried the koma-script bundle? I just finished writing my thesis with it and it's awesome. Easy to configure and had less problems than with the default one.

    Very fucking sick of "HTML is/isn't a programming language"
