Why do people at bus stations not know how a queue works...

It is always a "race" condition there!

    They are asychronous.

We don't have queues in the U.S., we have gaggle-fucks.

Because for some assholes, comfort matters more than anything!

@SoulSkrix xD @lordmirziteh describes it well with 'gaggle-fucks'.

@ThatDude I envy you, here in Germany it's the total opposite

They teach you how to queue in the military, but then when you get out, you feel like you're the only motherfucker alive that knows how to stand in a line! This may explain our terribly high suicide rates.

Most of the train stations where I live have nice indicators on the ground to show where a door will be when a train arrives. People usually queue very nicely at those indicators, and all is orderly and quick.

My wife and I moved to another part of town earlier this year, and the train that serves us where we live now has no indicators. Predictably, boarding is a shitshow.

Maybe they got confused and thought it was supposed to be a stack.

@lordmirziteh how do you implement a gaggle-fuck, are they thread safe ?
  • 4
@ItsNotMyFault they aren't safe at all and completely counterintuitive. I wish I was further along in my CS studies to have a more cheeky answer.

    Practice safe gagglefuckery.

They stand in queue and act as a stack

In India, we have LRU, except the U is 'Used To'

The person who is least used to to the scenario often gets replaced by the experienced ones.
