@clovisIrex start with your own projects and when you are good enough for the market apply to Dev jobs. Use ur current job to cover your expenses

I've been doing just that for the past 5 months or so. Lots of self learning, online courses, helping freelance friends and some toy projects here and there.
I started to apply for some junior jobs I saw on Linkedin, get denied every time... -
@clovisIrex I think what you need is a small open source app with basic features that shows your coding style and skills.
This will give you an advantage.
For me it took me 6 months to land my first job even though I already had some projects I contributed to on github
