Same for me. Switched from 16Mbps to 30 and while some few downloads are a bit faster now it doesn't feel different really.
Bloated websites are still slow as hell.

I went from 1 Mbps to 120 Mbps from one day to another

 I certainly noticed a difference

You sure you're actually getting the higher speed? Contention ratio, etc. I have <1mbps, 100mbps work fibre, and gf has residential fibre. Can definitely tell the difference.

Eqb814448yIt's not only your connection that matters, the host also has to be capable of supplying the upload speed, also bandwidth != speed.. Eqb814448yIt's not only your connection that matters, the host also has to be capable of supplying the upload speed, also bandwidth != speed..

I didn't notice the difference between 40 and 100 until I downloaded stuff on steam. Entire games on fucking seconds. Maybe I didn't notice the difference in torrenting due to geographical limitations.

I went up from 100 to 1000 and noticed the difference when streaming HD video. Of course, reducing the ping time to the US is for more effectual for non-video internet usage.

Remember how CPU speeds stopped mattering after they reached 2GHz? (except for gaming and media editing of course).
I believe Internet speeds have also met that zero marginal utility point at 15Mbps.
I felt no difference when mine went up gradually from 15Mbps to 75Mbps now. (Thanks ACT, India)
