We would like to give away more stuff, but international shipping is prohibitively expensive, several multiples of what the item costs us to manufacture. And it wouldn't feel fair to only give away some items to domestic users, and not to our big global audience.

@trogus what if it was optional but the shipping fee was for the receiver? That way it's fair and you don't have to worry about that.
