So many people on devRant rave about iPhones because of the better security and privacy, but the new iPhone X starts at a whopping $1000! Sure, you don't have to get the X, but that's what everybody wants.

You'll say "well, I'm willing to pay more if it means better security because that's just the way it is." It doesn't have to be. It would be much more beneficial to actually fight and take a stand for better security and more privacy than just put up with outrageous prices.
